The Repudiation of Dead Works - Part Two
Note: Due to the importance of this topic I have broken it down into two parts. Part One of the repudiation of dead works can be read in Entry Forty Three. Today, we pick up where we left off.
We are told many times in the ancient writings that the “fear of the LORD is the beginning point of wisdom” but what does that mean?
The fear of the LORD is the realization that there is a distinction between He, the very Fountainhead of all life, and everything else.
The fear of the LORD is the continual awareness of His incredible power and the knowledge that what is “born of God” is eternal and blessed with all the delights of His amazing splendor (it is “of” the God polarity), and whatever is not born of God is entirely outside of the canopy of the salvation (Yasha) offered to us and the healing polarity we are to be bringing to the planet then as sons and daughters (direct genetic offspring) of the infinite God.
Furthermore, what is “of Him” lives forever for within it is His own being, what is not dies outside of Him somewhere and the bad side of the fear of the LORD is the fear of finding one's self and actions perpetrated from an animating spirit outside of Him, in another “kind” of animating spiritual influence where there is no protection or salvation.
Expressions born out of another voice or influence is like wasted movement and here we've lightly touched on the two later foundations that deal with our future eternal lives in the stones of the Resurrection of the Dead and Eternal Judgment, which are also part of the Hebrews Chapter 6 foundations.
God's love is building for us now what can be expected to be an amazing eternal experience in the timelessness of infinite dimensions of inexhaustible life, so turning from what is dead and the useless energies of anything rooted therein is important on both the present and the future plane of living.
The Greek word translated into our English as “repentance” is a call to complete reorientation of spiritual and mental axis out from which all things regarding us emerge. It means to have another mind which is precisely what comes into us by the infusion of the Holy Spirit.
It is the mind of humankind that has been overcome with the thoughts of darkness and corruption and death, perpetrating into us unbelief in the massive goodness and love God has prepared for us in the arena of boundless and abundant life.
It is as our minds are changed and the thoughts of belief in the immeasurable love of God for us and His creation become the new view from which we operate, that the realities surrounding us begin to also change. Here is what the ancient writings have to say:
Let all those who are at a distance and departed into vexation and trouble forsake his way and the man who is out of harmonic synchronicity [with God], leave behind his old thoughts, and let him turn and return to the LORD and He will have mercy on him, to our God, and He will abundantly pardon.
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the LORD.
For as far as the heavens are above the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:7-9).
For if the incredible good news that we carry is hidden and concealed from view, it is hidden to those who are yet under the grip of death, full of perishing, full of loss and ruin.
They are enveloped by that which the god of this world blinds the persons mind from believing so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the very image of God, should shine to them (2nd Corinthians 4:3-4).
And no longer synthesize together with the schematics of this world, but instead be transformed by means of the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2).
In all thought there is energy of one kind or another.
Now, having undergone a regenesis of being, we are no longer bound to ‘earth only’ thinking rooted in the past history of humanity that draws one magnetically toward the grip of death, perishing, loss, ruin and distance from the loving favor of God who created us with the purpose of bearing His own image and likeness within the cosmos.
Now we are invited into a state of perpetual transformation as our thoughts and perceptions are increasingly adjusted to mirror the very thoughts of the Infinite One Himself.
In repentance, we are surrendering to this incredible process day in and day out forever.
We are they (the sons and daughters of God) who repudiate, casting out and away, the very energy of death itself in any and all its forms, whatever they may be and whatever way they appear within our surroundings, beginning with those we have direct responsibility for in some measure.
This is Foundation Stone Stone, 'Repentance From Dead Works' is foundation number one in the life of the new Apprentice of Jesus Christ.
Repentance from dead works is not a one time act but a foundation of continual interaction with the infinite life of God by which we adjust day by day, moment by moment with His image and likeness deposited into us in the form of the Spirit of all Wholeness.
