The Eyes Of The Lord: Going Naked With God
God is searching right now all over the earth for hearts that are ready to go all the way into the heavens, the arena of Spirit, where He is, abandoning themselves to the heights of unification with Him.
His eyes are on you and His eyes are on me right now as He is searching for that something that creates the open channels.
What will we do? How far will we go?
Jesus talked about the sheep “going in and out” of the pasture (John 10:9).
This is the invitation of God to His sons and daughters, that we may be those who go into His secret place, hidden from hearts too busy with other things, commune with Him, receive whatever it is we need for our joint mission and then come out with it all to express it into our metron of oversight.
The key that unlocks all is the heart;
The eyes of the LORD sweep back and forth throughout the whole of all the earth to prevail in power, showing Himself strong for the heart that is whole, complete and in richness toward Him (2nd Chronicles 16:9).
That God's eyes are searching hearts it is true. In all things, at all times, in all places and spaces within us nothing is hidden, nor should it be.
There is nothing in your heart that is going to be a new surprise to God so going totally naked with Him, not seeking to hide or cover up anything, is the best mode of transportation in supernatural travels and forays into the place of all genesis.
This is part of the honesty of David, to let God be part of every part, with no attempt to hide or conceal.
This is the significance of Zion which was the highest place in Jerusalem and had no covering obstructions that could create a shadow, but was naked and open before the heavens with nothing hidden.
Zion was the 'city of David' and the place where he chose for the Ark of God's presence.
According to David, Zion was the joy of the whole earth, the very fountain of God’s presence and abundant love among mankind (see Psalm 48:2).
Remember the first response of Adam and Eve when God showed up to see them after they chose to traffic with the serpent?
First, they created a false covering because all of a sudden they realized they were naked and God would clearly see what they had done, but the attempt of course was complete folly. You cannot hide from God. Secondly, they hid themselves, or so they thought, from the voice of the LORD as God walked in their direction, calling their names.
The scriptures do not say God only blesses perfect flawless people as we know that David had his share of mistakes.
God sees the heart. God is looking at your heart and my heart 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and measuring its intention, its motive force and passion to see if there are open possibilities for mutual alignment and unified expression of being.
He searches for a heart that is like His own heart in its passion for harmonic union with God, for in the passion for God there is something pure within the desire of that heart with which to work.
What the writings teach us is that a search is on for those whose heart is perfect toward Him so He might show Himself strong and powerful in their behalf.
For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and He ponders all of his goings (Proverbs 5:21).
All the ways of a man seem clean in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the spirits (Proverbs 16:2).
For if there is first set before the eyes an eager, zealous and willing mind, it is well received and accepted according to whatever a man currently has in possession and not according to what he does not currently have in his possession (2nd Corinthians 8:12).
